I co founded Rumourheard which is a Leeds based brand.  I started this in 2018 with my sister Charlotte Scrafton.

I was able to create my jewellery through a community art space. This had a laser cutter where I was able to use off cuts of Perspex and create beads for my earrings. I came up with the idea through a discussion with my sister who is a very passionate jewellery maker. With my knowledge in design and her craftsman ship we were able to design a brand we are truly proud of.
As a designer it is really important for me to keep my work as sustainable as possible. I found methods to cut down waste from local businesses by reusing their off cut material and transforming it to jewellery. I experimented with designing different shapes and mixing colours to create bold new innovative earrings.
I am a passionate photographer so I was able to take Product photos as well as my own editorial photoshoots. This helped push our online status. The name RUMOURHEARD came from my passion in music, I am a huge Stevie Nicks fan. The bold and bright colours are influenced heavily by the artists routes and the era her music was born.
